 You will start at an elevation of 2,360 meters and gradually ascend to 2,780 meters, the distance covered on this day is approximately 6 kilometers, it takes about 3-4 hours to complete this section,

Day 2:

Big Tree Camp (2,780m) to Shira 1 Camp (3,505m)

Day 3:

Barranco Camp (3,976m) to Karanga Camp (3,995m)

 As you traverse the Barranco Wall, you'll be treated to magnificent views of the alpine desert and the Kibo summit.

Day 6:

Karanga Camp (3,995m) to Barafu Camp (4,673m)

 You continue ascending to Barafu Camp, located at 4,673 meters, the distance covered is around 4 kilometers, and it usually takes about 3-4 hours to reach Barafu Camp.


From Barafu Camp, you'll have sweeping views of the summit and the vast expanse of the surrounding highlands.

Day 7:

Barafu Camp (4,673m) to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) and descent to Mweka Camp

 You'll make the final push to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa, at 5,895 meters, and then descend to Mweka Camp at 3,110 meters.
